No Judgment. Just Professional Help
Many people delay calling because they feel embarrassed or worry they’ll be judged. At Busy Bees Junk Removal, that’s never how we treat our customers.
When we arrive, we take time to understand your goals before we start removing anything. We’ll walk through the property with you, explain the process, answer your questions, and create a plan that fits your situation.
Our crew has completed hoarder cleanouts ranging from a single room to entire homes. We’ve seen every level of clutter, so nothing surprises us. We treat every customer, every family, and every property with respect, discretion, and professionalism.
If there are sentimental belongings, important paperwork, or valuables you want to keep, we’ll identify those areas before work begins so everyone understands the plan.
One of the things we hear most often after a cleanout is how amazed customers are by how quickly the home was transformed. Many tell us they wish they had called sooner because the process was far less stressful than they expected. Our goal is to help you move forward with confidence, knowing you’re working with a team that genuinely cares.
What We Remove During a Hoarder Cleanout
Every hoarder cleanout is different, which is why we customize each project based on the property and your goals. Whether you’re clearing one room or an entire home, our team has the experience to safely remove almost any non-hazardous item.
We commonly remove furniture, appliances, mattresses, clothing, boxes, bags, household trash, books, dishes, electronics, garage clutter, outdoor debris, sheds, and estate items. We also remove refrigerators, freezers, televisions, tires, propane tanks, and other items that require special disposal.
If hazardous materials such as paint or chemicals are found, we’ll explain the proper disposal process during your estimate. In many cases, we can remove these items for an additional disposal fee, especially if you’re unable to handle them yourself.
If you’re unsure whether we can remove something, just ask during your estimate. We’ll explain your options and make sure you know exactly what to expect before the cleanout begins.
What If We Need to Save Important Items?
One of the biggest concerns families have is accidentally throwing away something important. That’s why we create a plan before the cleanout begins.
Many customers use blue painter’s tape to mark items they want to keep or designate a room where everything stays. Before we remove anything, our crew reviews the plan with you so everyone understands what should remain.
If we’re ever unsure about an item, we’ll stop and ask before removing it. During the cleanout, we also set aside obvious personal belongings we discover, such as family photos, financial documents, checkbooks, diplomas, keepsakes, and other sentimental items, and confirm with you before anything is discarded.
Our goal is to help you clear the property while protecting the belongings that matter most to you.
Why We Use Weight-Based Pricing
Many junk removal companies charge based on how much space your items take up in their truck. While that may seem simple, it can leave customers wondering if they’re paying for more truck space than they actually used.
At Busy Bees Junk Removal, we use transparent, weight-based pricing. During your in-person estimate, we evaluate the number of truckloads your project will require and the density of the material being removed. This helps us estimate how much the debris is likely to weigh at the disposal facility and provide a realistic price range before work begins.
If your junk weighs less than expected, we refund the difference. If it weighs more than we estimated, we honor the quoted price and don’t charge you extra. Our goal is to eliminate surprises so you can move forward with confidence.
If your cleanout includes items with additional disposal fees, such as refrigerators, tires, propane tanks, paint, or chemicals, we’ll explain those costs during the estimate so you know exactly what to expect before the project begins.
Hoarder Cleanouts Start With an In-Person Estimate
Hoarder cleanouts are different from a normal junk removal pickup. Because every home is different, we start every hoarder cleanout with an in-person estimate.
During the estimate, we walk through the property and look at how much junk, clutter, and debris needs to be removed. We also look at access points, narrow walkways, stairs, garages, sheds, outside debris, and any safety concerns.
We also look for special disposal items like refrigerators, TVs, propane tanks, paint, chemicals, and other items that may have extra dump fees.
After the walkthrough, we explain the project, give a realistic price range, and let you know if we think the job will take one day or more. If you decide to move forward, we schedule a dedicated cleanout day and take a down payment to reserve the job.
Full Cleanouts or Room-by-Room Cleanouts
At Busy Bees Junk Removal, we believe every job should protect the planet as much as it clears your space. We offer eco-friendly disposal, helping reduce landfill waste through responsible practices.
We Offer Both Options.
Full Hoarder Cleanout
A full hoarder cleanout is best when the goal is to clear the entire home. This is common when someone has passed away, a family member is moving into assisted living, a landlord needs a property cleared, or the home is being prepared for sale.
Our crew removes unwanted furniture, junk, trash, clutter, and debris from the home so the property can move forward.
Room-by-Room Hoarder Cleanout
A room-by-room cleanout is best when the family needs more time to sort personal items, valuables, paperwork, or sentimental belongings.
We can clear one room, one garage, one living area, or one section at a time. This helps make the project feel less overwhelming while still making progress.

How Hoarder Cleanout Pricing Works
Hoarder cleanout pricing depends on the size of the project, the number of truck loads, the weight of the material, labor, access, and disposal fees.
At Busy Bees, one truck load is 15 cubic yards. During the estimate, we look at how many loads we think the job may take and how heavy the material may be.
The final price can change because some items are heavier than they look. For example, solid wood furniture, sleeper sofas, recliners, books, dishes, food, and dense debris can add a lot of weight.
Other things that can affect the price include stairs, narrow walkways, multiple levels, long carry distance, garages, sheds, outside debris, and special disposal items.
This is why we give a realistic price range during the estimate instead of guessing over the phone.
Simple, Transparent Junk Removal Pricing
Most junk removal jobs are priced by weight at the disposal facility. Smaller loads have simple flat-rate pricing. Before loading begins, our crew explains the estimated weight range so you know the expected cost upfront. Labor, transportation, and disposal are always included.

What Happens After the Junk Is Removed?
Our main job is removing junk, clutter, furniture, trash, and debris from the property.
After the cleanout is finished, the home may still need deep cleaning. If needed, Busy Bees can help schedule a cleaner to come in after the junk is removed.
This can help when the home needs to be prepared for sale, repairs, rental, or the next step.
Busy Bees handles the junk removal and debris removal. The deep cleaning is a separate service handled after the cleanout.

We don’t charge different prices simply because you live in another part of Pierce County.
If you’re unsure whether your property is within our service area, give us a call. We’ll be happy to answer your questions, schedule an in-person estimate, and explain the next steps.
